Body Odour- Home remedies


Everybody faces the problem of body odour to greater or lesser extent. Its a notion that perspiration causes the body to smell, but that's wrong.. surprised ? Ya, you must be. Bacteria is a true culprit. This bacterias secrete the strong chemicals which in turn causes foul smelling. As these bacteria grow well in presence of sweat, its wrongly believed that sweat causes body to smell. However, the problem of body odor can be sorted out by resorting to home remedies. Read on to how to cure the problem of body odor naturally.


Home Remedies:
  • You can apply baking soda to your armpits & your feet.
  • While bathing, add Neem (Margo leaves) extract to a mug of water and use it to rinse the armpits. This will definitely help in lessening the body odor.
  • Add few drops of rose water in the bathtub, before taking bath. It will give you a long lasting smell of rose and serve as a good deodorant.
  • Take showers, at least thrice in a day to lessen sweating.
  • Drink adequate amount of water.
  • During summers, you can apply talc to your armpits, instead of deodorants.
  • Mix 10 ml of the oil in 30 ml water. Apply this mixture on the armpits to reduce body odor.
  • Turnip juice is also effective in removing body odor. Grate a turnip and squeeze the grated pieces to extract the juice. 
  • Apply this juice on your underarms.
  • Drink a glass of water in the morning, on an empty stomach, along with some wheat grass. The chlorophyll present in the grass reduces body odor.
