Wrinkles are considered to be prime sign of ageing. The loss of elasticity and moisture in the skin leads to wrinkles. Wrinkles usually appear when the collagen and elastin fibres present in the connective tissue of the skin decrease in number or gets weak. Wrinkles are more prominent on face, neck and hands. Age is the predominant cause of wrinkles, others causes include over exposure to sun, smoking, pollution, OTC drug use, weight loss and vitamin E deficiency in the body.

- Eggs are said to be one of the best anti-oxidants. Apply beaten egg whites on the wrinkled skin & let it dry. Wash off of with lukewarm water..
- Apply coconut oil on the wrinkled skin before going to bed.
- Olive oil massage is also one of the best used home remedy for getting rid of wrinkles.
- Take a green seedless grape and cut it into 2 halves. Rub one of the halves on the wrinkled area & leave it for 15 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
- You can also do the above procedure by replacing the grape with the pineapple core.
- Take about 8-10 gms turmeric powder and add sugarcane juice to it to form a paste. Apply these paste on the wrinkles. Rinse off the face after it dries up.
- Regularly apply lemon juice several times a day.
- Take 3 Vitamin E capsules & pour its content in a small bowl. Add 2 tsp yogurt, 1/2 tsp of honey and 1/2 tsp of lemon juice to it. Stir & mix the mixture well. Apply this mixture on the face using a cotton ball. Keep it for about 10-15 minutes & then rinse it off.
- Cool a medium sized metal spoon & apply its back on the eyes. This is one of the best ways to get rid of wrinkles around eyes & also dark circles.
- Mix 2 tbsp vodka, 1 tbsp fennel seeds and 2 tsp honey. Leave the mixture for fermentation for 3 days & then use it as a toner.
- Massage with castor oil helps removing wrinkles.
- Increase the intake of carrot, cucumber, grapes, coconut, almond, sugarcane, turmeric, eggs, papaya, pineapple, ginger & Indian Gooseberry as they are best anti-oxidants & will thus delay ageing & all types of wrinkles on skin.
- Increase the intake of fresh fruit juices in your diet.
- Consume around 10 glasses or 4-5 liters of water everyday as there are less chances of developing wrinkles in hydrated skin. Never let your skin loose its moisture.
