Stomach-ache or pain is one of the most common ailments in the world. It can be felt anywhere in the area between the chest and groin. It has no age or sex barriers. Men, women and children, all are prone to stomach pain. Some of the major causes include constipation, indigestion, excessive gas, food poisoning, ulcers, appendicitis, kidney stones, UTI (urinary tract infections), hernia, etc.

Home Remedies For Stomach Ache:
- One of the most effective & age old remedy is to mix 1 tsp each of mint juice and lime juice and take it with warm water.
- Grind 3 grams of tamarind leaves to make a paste. Add a gram of rock salt. Drink this mixture to get relief.
- If the cause of stomach pain is acidity, the best way to get rid of it would be to drink plain soda water.
- Add few drops of ginger juice and a pinch of black salt. Drink this mixture to relieve pain.
In a cup of water, mix 2 tsp lemon juice and 1 gram rock salt powder. Drink this mixture thrice a day. - Take black pepper, roasted cumin seeds, dry ginger, dry mint leaves, coriander, asafetida, garlic and rock salt in equal quantities. Grind them well and make a fine powder of it. Take 1 tsp of this powder along with warm water after meals.
- Take 1tsp of carom seeds and rock salt/common salt with a glass of warm water to get relief from stomach ache.
- Add 1 tsp each of ginger juice and castor oil in about 50 ml of warm water. Drink this mixture twice a day.
- Prepare a paste of fenugreek seeds. Add this paste to a bowl of curd & take this after meal to avoid stomach ache.
- Add about 20 grams aniseeds in a cup of water. Keep it overnight and strain the mixture next morning. Drink it to get relief from pain.
- Mix 2 tsp lemon juice and 1 tsp ginger juice. Add ¼ tsp sugar to this mixture and drink it twice in a day.
- Include Pomegranates in your diet.
- Don't eat for around 2 hrs to check if your stomach ache vanishes.
- Avoid taking Aspirins & Ibuprofen.
